you have to stand in place. do absolutely nothing, even if an attack is going towards you. if you wait long enough, this text will appear and the boss will destroy itself.

Thanks. I tried this, and for some reason, none of the attacks even hit me. I guess the Plague of Shadows wanted to see if Plague Knight was going to put up a fight.
