I'm glad that you are enjoying it. Hopefully we don't have to wait for too long to play the King Knight campaign and battle mode.

I hope we get it soon too! And I'm looking forward to playing the Specter Knight campaign still. I might hold off on the Plague Knight feats for now so that I can play Specter's campaign sooner.

Well this is a fun easter egg! I'm enjoying the music here too. It's nice how the levels have been significantly changed from the other two campaigns.

Well, I meant to make a post while I had my Wii U running so I could take a screenshot, but my roommate was itching to play Smash with me, so in my haste I forgot to. Anyways, I finished up Specter's campaign with 100% item completion! Very fun! I did the mini game in the tower today too, and that was some of the funnest platforming in the entire game, imo. I was very happy with this DLC. And now

that I've played Shovel Knight's campaign again twice, I have a fresh perspective on all three current campaigns. And honestly... it's hard for me to pick a favorite. Shovel Knight's is probably my least favorite from a gameplay perspective, but his campaign is the most fleshed out. And maybe it's because I'm no longer new to the game, but I had an easier time finding collectibles as Plague Knight

and as Specter Knight than I did as Shovel Knight. I would have liked it if finding them were a bit harder. Although, there were a couple from both Specter's and Plague's campaigns that were tough for me to find. Specter Knight has my favorite platforming, and the complexity of Plague Knight's bombs make for some very fun moments as well. Oh, and I did miss having an overworld map as Specter.

Sorry my thoughts are kind of all over the place. :p Overall, it's just hard for me to pick a favorite campaign, because each is done so well. They each have different strengths and weaknesses. I'm looking forward to continue working towards the feats and challenges in the game. Also, apparently there's some kind of amiibo mode? I haven't done that either.

If you purchase the Shovel Knight Amiibo, you can unlock a custom knight. What this means is that Shovel Knight's campaign is changed. You cannot buy upgrades; you instead unlock by leveling up. There are new cosmetics, relics, and challenges to unlock with the Amiibo. If you're down to pay for it, the Shovel Knight Amiibo is definitely worth your time. (Although an amiibo file disables feats.)

Thanks for the info Cooper! I'll try out this custom knight thing soon. Despite having completed all three campaigns, I still feel like there's much to do in Shovel Knight. Feats, challenges, and this amiibo mode remain to be completed!

Custom Knight is at max level! That was pretty fun! I used this playthrough to get 100% item completion, even though it didn't matter much with Custom Knight. I hadn't done that since my first playthrough when I wasn't too into the game, so it was nice to do that with my new attitude towards the game.

What are your favorite new relics/charge attacks/special abilities?

I found the Flareo Wand to be a pretty useful relic. Creating a small burst of fire was nice. I also really liked the Infinidagger. It's really fun to go sailing across the screen, and it also has a really fun name. :p I usually had Shovel Blade Max on my special, and nothing on my charge because I like the Charge Handle. I did mess around with Blink Dash on charge, and I liked that. I also liked

Double Jump on special. But most of the time I preferred Shovel Blade Max and no charge. I also really enjoyed having so many different color swaps for Shovel Knight. I tried a different color after pretty much every stage. The gestures were fun too. I liked Feign Death and Annoying Laugh in particular.

I found the double jump and bomb burst to be the most useful. Hopefully Plague Knight and Specter Knight Amiibo will eventually be announced and released.

That would be cool! I'm a sucker for amiibo, I'd buy a Specter Knight and Plague Knight amiibo in a heartbeat. Having a Custom Knight for each of them would be fun too if it were anything like Shovel Knight's.

It's a shame that we Shovel Knight players might not get to play any others knights'/wandering travelers' campaigns. I would really like to see a campaign for Propeller Knight, Black Knight, and Shield Knight. At the very least, Yacht Club should make challenge stages that have other playable characters/incorporate a cheat that allows any character in battle mode to be playable in story mode.

I think that planned future content involves a battle mode where you can play as every boss, correct? So at least there will be that. I'm with you though, it would be fun to have a campaign for more bosses. I'm particularly interested in Tinker Knight.

Tinker Knight is who I would like to see a mode for the most, and has just as much potential for a complex gameplay style as Plague. Plus, the Clockwork Tower stage music and the boss variants are some of my favorite music in the game. I wouldn't mind hearing more variations of it...

I honestly think that Yacht Club could make an interesting and fun campaign for any Order of No Quarter knight, Black Knight, Shield Knight, The Enchantress, or perhaps even one of the wandering travelers. Maybe one day Shovel Knight could even see a sequel.
