It's strange. Plague Knight never really acted out of goodwill, he only acted with his own goals in mind. Even in saving Mona he didn't do it to stop the evil Enchantress, but rather only to reunite with his love. Perhaps his morals change a bit in the end, but his motivations are still pretty self-centered. I was satisfied with Plague of Shadows's ending, but I don't think Plague Knight...

(Continued) ...deserved all of the rewards that he received. Plus, in this ending it is unclear whether Shovel Knight was able to save Shield Knight or not.
