I've played Specter of Torment the most out of the current adventures, perhaps a little too much. I've played normally, New Game+, Mega Man X Wall Slide mode, and Donovan mode, with the last two being cheat codes. Overall, I think this is the best adventure (so far) in the Shovel Knight series!

I don't remember for sure but isn't specter of torment after plague of shadows?

Specter of Torment did come out after Plague of Shadows, but it's actually the prequel to the first two adventures (Shovel of Hope/Plague of Shadows). Specter Knight is trying to recruit the Order of No Quarter in this adventure.

where do you enter codes

You enter the codes on the name entry screen on a new save file, right after you select a character.

there's no code entry, you just enter the name of a file.
