What a satisfying ending.
Now my thoughts on this game: It's very fun, really worth your money. The levels are well designed with barely any cheap moments. Bosses are interesting and test your skill in a fair way. There are no lives but instead you lose money upon dying which can be collected back if you can manage to reach the place you've died on.

There are tons of ways to earn money which allows even the worst players to earn money and buy upgrades. Beating a boss, finding treasure, retrieving music notes, treasure stages, breaking checkpoints (but that means they won't work anymore), etc earns you money.
BUT I have 1 problem with the game, the stages can sometimes be too big. Big stages don't necessarily mean they're good.

I get to the 6th checkpoint I start wondering when the stage will finally end. It would have been better if some stages were split into 2 separate stages. It can take more than an hour to beat 1 if you're bad (I made a friend play scepter knight's stages and it took him forever). And if you miss that 1 collectable you have to do the whole stage over again which isn't fun if the stage is big.

That's the only complain I have oh wait, the 1st stage music needs to be used more often, it's awesome, maybe some stages (that aren't too big) on the world map that you have to beat to get further with some optional stages too.
I bought it on my 3DS because it was on sale and it would be fun to play from time to time when I'm somewhere else.

Well, these are my thoughts. Overall it's a fun game and definitely worth its price.

I loved both campaigns.
Plague Knight was already my favorite boss as soon as I saw him, so getting to play as him felt awesome.

I never really thought about the stages' lenghts until now. I guess they're kinda long. It doesn't really bother me because I know how to play and I know how to go fast.

If you'd ask me right now, my favourite music tracks would probably be Propeller Knight's stage and the song that plays when you fight the characters desinged by the kickstarter backers.

Are gonna play Specter Knight right when it comes out on Wii U/3DS?
Or are taking a break from Shovel Knight?
It looks even more epic than Plague Knight!
...Though, I don't know if anything can beat Plague Knight's amazing DANCE ABILITY.

@Lassi I totally ship Mona and Plague Knight >w<
If you ask me, then totally, I'll be playing Spectre of Torment as soon as it comes out.

[Lassi] I probably won't instantly play it after it comes because if its like Plague knight (most of the stages are the same with only an extra path added), I'd rather wait a bit. He does look fun to play as.

Specter of Torment is apparently almost like a new game!
The level desing seems to be completely different. (level themes are mostly the same though)
Apparently there's new music and the bosses are different.
And of course it plays differently.
I'm saying "apparently" a lot because I haven't watched lots of gameplay from that. I don't want to spoil it.

It IS a completely new game but the boss music isn't remixed like the stage music... AND IT IS BETTER THAN PLAGUE OF SHADOWS... you can't believe that I know... I also did a bit hard believing that... YOU GOT THE EDGE MAN NO MORE DANCING YOU GOT THE EDGE... and a great story
