Love how the flames have lit up the ground and the silhouette of the trees against the night sky makes it feel dark. Art yo!

Very nice art direction. This particular scene definitively reminds me of Golden Axe camping mid scenes, when little gnomes are passing by sleeping warriors near the camp fire.

Simple yet haunting and gorgeous. It's amazing how such a minimal scene can evoke such emotion, I feel a sense of calm yet foreboding, its ironic actually? xD I haven't played the game but this scene is so artistic, Somehow, I just can feel a sense of fragile calmness fighting against inner torment or something? :P :S

This is why I still prefer pixels to polygons. Sure, polygons(in huge numbers) can create some truly amazing digital worlds but I love how with pixels you have to use them almost like crayons to give life to the world.

Oh yes! WIth pixels, its like putting a picture together using ink dots (Pointilism?), you have to slowly build the picture pixel by pixel, in fact its like a digital mosaic even? :O Pixels are so simple but can have so much depth to them and as you said brilliantly, its like using crayons somewhat :).
