Huh, that was weird. After defeating the boss of this mansion the "Boss meter" had half an orb of heath left. After I killed Shovel Knight with the only dangerous thing left in the completed level, a small patch of spikes under a statue the last bit of the boss meter depleted completely. I guess the ghost took me as its host or something. Weird.
