I'm still torn between which I enjoyed more, Shovel Knight is great as a pure gameplay experience and much faster but I liked the customisation of Plague Knight and the change of pace. Used a lot more of the support items too whereas I stuck with a handful in the main game as the rest only seemed useful for very specific areas. Both good though.

Yeah, definitely depends on your taste. Have you attempted any of the challenges yet? And what did you make of the final boss of Plague of Shadows? That took me by surprise, there were more phases than I was expecting so found it a tough but still fair.

I liked the characters in plauge of shadows more, but enjoyed the dungeons and bosses more as shovel night. I dont know which one i liked better.

Yes, but the devs from Yacht Club games said that we're getting King Knight and Specter Knight in the future.
