When he dashes at you and when he slides around, try and shovel drop on him. Stay away from him when he has the beam of fire shooting upwards. If you can get access to him before he throws blocks at you, shovel drop on him as he throws. The Chaos Sphere is a really great item for this fight, you can get it from Chester at the Village.
