I haven't progressed very far in Specter Knight's campaign, so it is entirely possible he could be one of my favorites by the end of it.

I've been a fan of him since the beginning. You'll love it, trust me.

Now that I have finished Specter Knight and/or Donovan's campaign I will say he is an interesting and tragic character, but I still like Plague Knight a bit more. Doesn't mean Specter Knight isn't an awesome character in his own right, though.
