Did you know? Switching the language to Japanese enables a lot of localization easter eggs, like water flowing out of the fountain in town, radishes replacing carrots, animated grass in the Plains and more!

Yeah! It's a throwback to the differences between western and Japanese releases in the old NES days. The devs wrote a really nice article about games with changes across the world and what inspired them to put these little things in SK. If you feel like reading it, try googling Japan Localization Yacht Club Games - it's in their website. Pretty interesting stuff to read about!
