Ok, so I downloaded the update, it's in my data management, (Under DLCs) but the game is still version 2.2...Help?

nvm, go to the eshop, click shovel knight treasure trove, and update the game itself.

You have to install 2 updates

I think I figured it out after checking their twitter, you need to go into setting/other, scroll down and tap updates, and then it should start download treasure trove.
Update: It worked! I just did as you see above, and it keeps all you're save data too, so no worries there.
